Know what’s in the products before you buy.

Just because it’s bigger doesn’t mean it’s better and healthier; make certain that the products you’re purchasing are not altered to achieve a desired quality. Both animals and plants can be genetically changed by inserting genes from one species into genes of another. For example, controlling the size, and hastening the production of animals or plants are products of Genetically Modified Organisms, (GMOs), which are usually distorted in a laboratory setting, resulting in faster growing livestock, poultry, fruits, and vegetables, and it’s noticeable in the taste when compared to products that are naturally grown.

The more natural the foods, the better it is for your health and wellbeing especially during this pandemic of COVID-19. Fungicides, herbicides, and pesticides present more issues in various body organs/systems such as weakened immunity, gastrointestinal disorders, insulin regulation, among others.    Remember to consume well-balanced meals rich in vitamins and antioxidants; start with choosing healthy fruits and vegetables. Example, pineapples seen in this picture are peeled, washed, and cut into small pieces, and can be eaten as a snack or desert. Some benefits of pineapples include vitamin C, antioxidants, in addition to reducing inflammation by enhancing immunity, it offers help with digestion, may promote healthy bones, as well as weight loss, and most of all it’s delicious. Again, try to choose foods that will enhance your health. Continue visiting our website for help with your diabetes; stay healthy.
