Healthy Eating includes lowering the LDL cholesterol

This blog addresses reducing the low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol by removing fats from meat as depicted in the picture, and the skin from poultry and fish before cooking and eating. By controlling and limiting your fat intake, you can prevent complications such as hypercholesterolemia, heart disease, and other vascular issues. This month is dedicated to diabetes, and we want to emphasize the need to achieve stable glycemic values to avoid complications such as cerebrovascular accidents (strokes). As COVID-19 continues to destroy our nation and the world, the worse outcomes are associated with sustained uncontrolled blood glucose values (hyperglycemia); please visit the Shop page for the Fat Removal video among other educational resources and recipes.  Stay healthy.
